Planning

Is one word you'd hear as often as you strike 4D in the office building. But that's ok, the obsessive planner is still alive and well here!

Actually, at the moment planning i'm how to make two particular sandwiches for dinner next week. Perhaps we need an adj stronger than obsessive. Heh, but definitely not as obsessive as the one who got hitched last weekend. Well, but I'm glad to have caught abit of it from her, if not things would be pandemonium! Finally managed to sell someone (her, being the most enthusiastic taker I've met for this one) The Tofu Tekan (trademark, copyrighted Oct 2007 @ Fauna The Luciole), which didn't turn out too disastrous. Er. I mean "not disastrous enough", so...working on making it more difficult now. Somehow throwing tofu thru door grilles and having people catch them in their mouths hasn't managed to cause too much trauma. Boy, just when I thought everyone's as sparkling as 3-day old Pellegrino, something comes along and surprises me. These guys were sure up to any occasion.

Deviation - Right now i am seized with mild panic over the weirdness and clunkiness of my current writing, which i would like to - for the record - put down to it being an occupational hazard. The non-existent grammar and missing prepositions and extra-long sentences. And bad paragraphing. And jerky train of thought. A thought that nowadays can only focus on...food! And that irritatingly funny M1 commercial with the indian shopkeeper shrieking "Mumbai la!" down the caller from Singapore.

Alrighty. More on the sandwiches. #1 - A warm Champagne Ham sandwich on croissaint with hard cheddar cheese and sliced tomatoes. #2 - smoked salmon and perhaps capers and the usual mess of salad vegetables with that Mos burger salad oil. wahhhhhahahaha!!

And The Holiday!! Just read that list of places to visit from Rachel's blog and i'm hoping we all have a good chance of ticking off all those items! Ticked one off, hope plans to tick another one off will come through! Venice, Vatican City, Pisa ... whoo hoo!! The Thought shall have to focus on The Holiday now...come to think of it, haven't actually planned a proper holiday for more than a year. Melbourne and Brisbane didn't count cos of the "local guides". Jerusalem and London don't count cos of the "local guides" as well. Oh. There's actually a duplication of local guides in both cases! Gosh now I realise TWY might feature in almost all my time out of Singapore this year! So we've one-upped the "meeting thrice in one year, once in the southern hemisphere and once in the northern hemisphere and once on the equator"! WOW! The wonders of air-travel!

Ok, getting more bizarre and disjunct. Time for Zzz-s.
